TAKEOUT WEST OF ITALY
Are you in the mood for great Italian food? How about homemade Italian food? What if it’s homemade Italian food that YOU don’t have to cook?! FORNO ITALIANO is what you need!
Right here, in Evans City, Pennsylvania, we’re making the best Italian takeout west of the homeland (that’s Italy of course!). It’s all homemade – meatballs, sauce, hoagie rolls, sandwich rolls and garlic bread, gnocchi, polenta, ziti bake, Limoncello cheesecake, peanut butter pie bars and more.
In addition to serving you and your family, we can also cater your next party with bountiful pans of meatballs, sausage, ziti bake and so much more. We do all the cooking, and you do all the enjoying!
THE STORY OF
FORNO ITALIANO
Once upon a time, we bought a food truck. We wanted to cook the really good Italian food that Gary made at home and share it with our friends and neighbors. At the same time, we decided to move to Butler to be close to family and live in the beautiful countryside of Butler County.
As we moved, we drove through Evans City a thousand times and kept seeing the “For Lease” sign on “the old quilt shop” on Main Street. Gary took a look and decided that was the perfect spot to park the truck and create a takeout restaurant where he could realize his dream.
With that, FORNO ITALIANO was born. We opened in June 2024, and were warmly welcomed by the community. We hope you’ll come and see us to try our delicious food and tell your family, friends and neighbors about your experience, which we know will be fabulous. We’ll see you soon!
Ciao!!
“My girlfriend and I went back for a second time, and third time. Both were even BETTER than the first!
The hospitality of the workers is an experience of its own, don't just go to eat the food, talk to the owner. Talk to the people, it's like a family you don't know you have until you get to know them.”

What people are saying…
“It was my first time ordering from Forno Italiano and for a dinner party for 8. The owner suggested the Chicken parm and rigatoni. The chicken was cooked to perfection, moist with a delish red sauce. The rigatoni was out of this world delicious.”
